Ingredients
FRESH FROM THE STORE
- 1 cup Tofu
- 1 cup Rice Noodles
- 1 cup Soy bean sprouts
- 1 Thai Chili
- 2 Eggs
- 3 tbsp TamarInd Paste
- 2 Green Onions
FROM YOUR PANTRY
- 3 tbsp Phad Thai Spice Mix
- 2 tbsp Fish Sauce
- 4 tbsp Tamari Sauce
- Coconut or Vegetable oil for cooking
- PHAD THAI MIX INCLUDES:
- Cayenne Pepper, Garlic Flakes, Peanuts
Instructions
Step 1
Heat up 2 cups of water in a pot over high heat. When water starts boiling, add rice noodles and stir to separate. Cook until barely tender to bite, 4 – 5 minutes. Then drain. If not using immediately, rinse well to keep noodles from sticking together, drain again.
Step 2
Heat up oil in a pan. Place Tofu cubes and Soy bean sprouts and sautee at high heat for 5 to 10 minutes until they turn slightly golden brown from the outside.
Step 3
Whisk eggs and add them to the pan. Turn heat down to medium. When egg starts to become firm, scramble into small pieces.
Step 4
Add noodles, Tamari Sauce, Tamarind paste and Spice mix. Mix all the ingredients well, then serve Phad Thai immediately. Garnish with fresh green onion.
