José Maria da Fonseca (JMF) has been producing wine since 1834 and is known far and wide for its award-winning Moscatel wine – but the estate produces all types of wine, which are all available at By The Wine. The bar carries a fantastic selection of wines, including some unique labels that are produced in very small quantities and are incredibly hard to find. By The Wine also opens up the possibility for clients to try all the wines from the JMF portfolio by the glass.

In the winter, the busiest will be the one with the fireplace… In the summer, not the rooms but the courtyard gets crowded. Here the cocktails are a must!

The first spot in Lisbon to be 100% dedicated to Gin had to be born from the will of the Gin Lovers team. They revolutionized how Gin was being served in the capital, they launched National Gin Day… and now they bring us one all-comprising-space; gin bar, store, restaurant & lifestyle.

The atmosphere is both charming and romantic, with a vintage and bucolic feel too. The Art Nouveau styled decor, a fireplace, and an old piano, Procópio sets the atmosphere for an intimate talk in a week’s night out while sipping a drink…

The dramatic red and black décor, views of Eduardo VII Park, live piano music and cocktails to die for (we recommend Ricardo Felgueiras [barman’s] specialty “10-year Porto Flip”), enhance the special atmosphere of this cult Lisbon bar. Snack on a Cuban sandwich with roast pork (“Prego no bolo caco”) or Chef Meynard’s deliciously moreish cheesecake amongst the fashionable crowd of politicians, actors and fashionistas who swear by this classy favourite.
